FAA Mail Agent

Welcome to Faamailagent.com. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of our mail forwarding services, including receiving mail from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on your behalf, digitally forwarding it to you, and offering optional physical delivery via priority post to your designated overseas address or address of choice. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1.1 Mail Receipt: We will act as your authorized agent to receive mail from the FAA at our designated U.S. address on your behalf.
1.2 Digital Forwarding: By signing up for our services, you agree that we may open and scan your received mail to upload it to a secure online portal or send it to your designated email address in a digital format (e.g., PDF), as specified by you.
1.3 Physical Forwarding (Optional): Upon your request, we will forward the original mail to your designated overseas address via priority post, subject to additional fees and shipping terms outlined in Section 4.
1.4 Retention and Disposal: Unless you opt for physical forwarding, physical mail will be securely stored for 90 days after digital delivery. You may request in writing that we shred the documents at any time during this period. If we do not hear back from you within 90 days, the mail will be shredded and disposed of with the digital copy already sent to you.
2.1 You must provide accurate identification and contact information to use our services.
2.2 You must authorize us in writing to act as your agent for receiving FAA mail, including completing any necessary FAA forms or documentation we provide.
3.1 Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date delivery details (email and/or physical address) and promptly notifying us of any changes.
3.2 Compliance: You must ensure that your use of our services complies with all applicable laws, including U.S. export regulations and the laws of your country.
3.3 Content: You warrant that the mail we receive and forward does not contain illegal, hazardous, or prohibited materials under U.S. or international law.
3.4 Fees: You agree to pay all applicable fees for our services as outlined in Section 4 and on our website or service agreement.
4.1 Service Fees: Fees for digital forwarding and optional physical forwarding are detailed on our website or in your service agreement. Fees are subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
4.2 Shipping Costs: If you opt for post, you will be charged the advertised cost of shipping.
4.3 Payment Terms: Payments must be made within 7 days of invoicing Mail forwarding cost. Late payments may incur a $100 penalty or suspension of services.
4.4 Taxes and Duties: You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country for physical mail delivery.
5.1 Digital Delivery: We aim to open, scan, and deliver mail digitally within 1 business day of receipt, barring unforeseen delays (e.g., technical issues, natural weather phenomena’s).
5.2 Physical Delivery: Priority post shipments will be dispatched within 2 business days of your request, subject to carrier schedules and availability. We will strive to ensure same day posting, eg, Your mail arrives, it is scanned, you opt to have the mail sent that day, we will send it that day.
5.3 Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by the FAA, postal carriers, customs authorities, or events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters). Tracking information will be provided for physical shipments where available.
6.1 Data Protection: We will handle your personal information and mail contents in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
6.2 Confidentiality: We will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of your mail during opening, scanning, and forwarding. However, we are not responsible for breaches caused by third-party carriers or your failure to secure your digital account.
6.3 FAA Compliance: You acknowledge that FAA mail may include sensitive information, and you authorize us to process it as necessary to provide our services.
7.1 We are not responsible for the content of the mail or any actions taken by the FAA or other entities based on that content.
7.2 Our liability for lost, damaged, or delayed mail is limited to the lesser of $100 or the fees paid for the specific service, unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
7.3 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services.
8.1 By You: You may terminate your account by providing 30 days written notice with proof of amendment of U.S based mail agent to comply with U.S laws and regulations. No refunds will be issued for prepaid services.
8.2 By Us: We may terminate or suspend services if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we are required to do so by law or the FAA, with notice where feasible.
8.3 Upon termination, we will hold any remaining mail for 90 days. If we do not hear back from you within 90 days, it will be shredded and disposed of unless otherwise instructed.
8.4 You will be required to send proof of amendment of U.S based mail agent to comply with U.S laws and regulations. Eg, Mail address changed from our address to your new providers.
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of CA, USA.
9.2 Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration, or as required by law.
10.1 Amendments: We may update these Terms with a note ‘Updated Terms and Conditions’ on Faamailagent.com. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10.2 No Affiliation with the FAA: We are not affiliated, associated, or endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We act solely as an independent mail forwarding service authorized by you to receive FAA mail on your behalf.
10.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, pandemics).

By signing up for or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including that your mail will be opened and scanned by us and that we will shred the documents upon your request or after 90 days if we do not hear back from you.
